There's something about the Fall Season that reinvents fashion and inspires me every year. I can remember when I purchased my first copy of InStyle. It just so happened to be their Fall issue for that year. I was 15 years old and at a Florida convention with my parents. I purchased the magazine at the hotel gift shop knowing that I would be stuck in the room for the majority of the day.

Unaware, my love for fashion started at the age of two. I would never hesitate to verbalize what I thought of my mother's outfits. I demanding to wear party dresses every day (including the day when painting the outside of the house was on the agenda). I would get in numerous fights with my mother as she would dress me in CORDUROY PANTS (ugh!) to go climb trees at a friends. As a teen I would often stay home alone in my room and put together "looks" from my closet. My real career dream always included singing.

That September, the moment I opened my first copy of InStyle...The Fall Issue...I knew that fashion design was my place. The rest of the trip the magazine never left my side. I was completely mesmerized and inspired by each and every glossy, wide-paged display of high-fashion (growing up in a small town, this was an eye-opener).

And here we are...at the beginning of it all again...Fall Fashion 2009! A Chance to re-invent, re-discover, and get inspired!

I've just returned from a show in nyc and I must say, Fall and Holiday at Glamour and Glow is going to be amazing!! I can't wait to share all of the wonderful designs with all of you!

It's back to the grind now and I've got some custom work to get finished up for the lovely August brides! I will leave you with a picture of the gorgeous flower arrangements at the show. I have not been able to get them out of my head, they were absolutely breathtaking!!!
